How was your weekend?
I had yet another busy one!
Saturday was work and then an evening at the race track.
Sunday we got up early and went fishing all day.
We had lots of nibbles, but only one of us caught a fish.
I should have an exciting post coming up next weekend!
Talk to you soon.

A Bumpy Camping Trip
I told Nathan that he can't go to work until June.
So I planned us a camping trip from May 30th-June 1st, and being my luck he got called for a job for June 2nd. So we had a partial camping trip and it was enjoyable for the most part, except for the bout of food poisoning he had. . .Enjoy these Tofino and Uclulet pictures!
Let me know your camping tips in the comments below!

My crazy dude decided it was a good idea to jump into the freezing ocean.
Nathan was up at 4am and headed down to the beach to try and catch a sunrise, this is what he ended up with.
Coffee in class.
Had to get a ring shot in there.
Besides the few mishaps I had a fun time camping with this guy! We learned that you can boil an egg in a beer/pop can in the fire and that the more blankets the better (we learned that the hard way).Let me know your camping tips in the comments below!

It's Spring!
It's the first weekend of Spring which means the herring are in and that also brings in the sea lions.
I have heard of it happening but have never been down to see it until this weekend.
The ocean was absolutely green from all the fish and other things happening. . .
It was very cool though and the seagulls were also going crazy fighting over all the fish.
Thanks for stopping by!

How To Spend A Weekend
I am quite enjoying our weekend adventures lately.
This past weekend we headed down island and wandered the capital.
On the way there we stopped at my favorite farmer's market and picked up five bags of coffee and a hot dog, made locally, for lunch.
Once we got to the capital we wandered into the most heavenly smelling place called Wannawafel. We had already had waffles for breakfast but it just smelled too good to pass up, so we split a Liege waffle. I didn't know what a Liege waffle was before this day but I would suggest trying one.
I'm always amazed when we walk past the Lululemon there how packed it is.
Eventually we met up with my parents, who were there having their own adventures, and wandered around with them.
We headed to Chinatown to check out a incredibly busy record store in Fan Tan Alley, then we were all getting peckish and stopped in a bakery. I can't even remember the name of the bakery but it wasn't my favorite, the coffee was good though.
After visiting with my parents we headed to a tool store...
Then I got hungry and we picked up wings and potato wedges from the QF.
We got home and binged on our food while drinking mimosas.
It was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday!
